E: People have been telling me a lot if I dont level every class I wont accomplish much in this game? Well that ladies and gentlemen is a load of nonsense, If I for example want to only play a White Mage then what does it matter if I dont have Warrior or Black Mage leveled? I will play what I enjoy as should everyone.

I totyally agree with this one. I Think 99% of gamers in FFXIV lvl up every class because they think there will be more probability that they get a pt than if they lvl up 1 or 2 classes that they love. This game lacks people that play what they love. Everybody plays everything and the worst part is that because of that they spend all their money in getting stuff for every class intead of focusing all that money to get the most amazing piece of gear (with materia) for one class. If people play something that they don't totally love they will complain about the game because they will not be following their bliss. They are doing what others think they should be doing in order to get something. That makes anyone angry against the whole game, devs and players overtime. Moreover, usually the people that say they love all the classes mean that they don't know what they want that's why they don't do a good job with ALL of them.

Love wizards, too bad this game doesn't have the same feelings. They kinda crap on their own black mages with their crappy gear.

/looks at darklight DoM, stated to be the best thing to obtain in game. Not too many different good weapons either. Melded Lightning brand or Garuda staff or nothing. Pretty lame choices after... almost two years now?

Not really, a lot actually take the easy road just because of the terrible servers themselves.

I'm anything but an elitist player, and almost every time I've dealt with a JP player, they were nothing less than professional about their conduct in game.

In any case, adding numbers to your stats can only help your chances, whether or not you know your stuff.

This is pretty much what FF has become.

Basically this. There are 3 different phases of the fight and if a person isn't coordinated and knows what to do in all 3 of the phases they will be one shotted. Now tell me what the likelyhood is of 8 people being able to come together, half of which have probably not even seen the entire fight, and win this fight. It just isn't going to happen any time soon, not on the NA side atleast.
