Suggestion to reduce Ul'Dah overpopulation and improve overall communication

One of the bigger reasons uldah is overpopulated is the fact that it's the best designed city and with that everyone wants to be able to communicate for events easier. If there was a world chat channel for events it might alleviate the stress being put on the city and spread people out. A channel for each event like dungeons, primals, behests, leves, hamlets, etc. What might prevent the spreading is simply due to the way uldah is designed. Everything is closer together, more compact than the other cities so doing this might not change anything. If it was added, being required to do quests and them being "linkpearls" or something of the sort would probably keep to the game.

Actually the devs already mentioned that a global channel, due to the way the servers are built right now, would generate a gigantic and theoretically unbearable amount of lag everywhere. So it's literally a technical issue.

I read that too. Just another reason to kick this version 1 bucket faster.

If they move the aetherite to the zone B of Ul'dah, afk ppl will be there (most of them), and active ppl would walk to the zone A, it should reduce a bit the population (so the latency) of the zone A.

People have the misconception that Uldah is the Jeuno of FFxiv, ofcourse for now it is because it the middle city of the three. Wait until another city opens up(Isga...) see how fast ppl will flock like sheep... or pigeons (if you prefer) to a new location to stay up to date with the latest trends.

Its not the players fault. With a limited party system and shouts won't even reach to Ul'dah's section B, where else is there to go but section A?
