I'm sure if SE plays the advertising game well enough FFXIV 2.0 will go through the same thing. Horrid login issues and suffer being the flavor of the month.

I guess Blizzard didn't expect several million people to buy D3 and to try to log on their game servers at the same time. Since their servers have been congested or just down for maintenance since the game launched last night.

To be fair, when XIV came out, it also had difficulty with server load.

Now I will personally not touch that game with a 10 foot poll because I am activity against RMT services and having to have an internet connection for a single player game is atrocious. But I'm sure it will fair fine.
