I'm POSITIVE, if you shout in Ul'dah, you will get a party for Garuda, even if you specify its not a BLM burn. You probably won't win, but that can be said for new content and pick up groups. The fact is though, that you need atleast 2 Magic DDs (or 1 really good one >.>) for that fight, so purposely not using Black Mages will result in failure.

Those player are all japanese they have about 0 latency, i dont know where you come from but in EU, the lag is quite worse, is doable yes but is based on luck mostly.

Our white mage has to play on a 3g connection at times and and only sometimes gets hit by Astral Shriek. Regardless, her actions are completely predictable so long as you are patient, wait before skills, watch your map to see where she's going to be, and move.

That's untrue, the lag is relatively close to the same for all regions with variances from different ISPs. The real problem with lag is the entirely on SEs end. It's trouble with the servers communicating with each other more than a problem of distance from the actual server location, ie., ping time.

A party beat it with all 7 jobs, and yes the paladin was tanking. All classes are welcomed, its that after the BLM burn most people have their BLMs built up compared to other jobs.

Just because it's actually possible to beat Garuda with all 7 jobs doesn't mean the players themselves are going to welcome all of them, unfortunately.
