Throw Ramuh and Titan at a group of black mages/thms and see how well they do.

Fira/Firaga is still pretty damn powerful if geared correctly, just like with gearing for Lightning magic. Given that it's neither weakness nor strength versus Fire, they'd still be able to burn it down.
