Incidentally, I don't disagree with you.

When I create a character, I like the idea of that being my character. Being able to switch out my hair type whenever I feel like it seems to lessen the feel/importance of making a character "mine".

I don't however go into threads for the sole purpose of raining on people's parade with apathetic one liners(unless they make another "I want FFXI" post). I also don't make any claims on what "devs should be working on". If you're that passionate and convinced that you're in the know, maybe you should apply for a dev position yourself and save the game for the rest of us.

people cant anticipate things like gear clipping with certain hairstyles before actually playing and sometimes people get tired of their hair, they're not going to prioritize hair over content updates anyway.
