To be honest, too many dear john letters about this issue.

1. you get a house, spend time in it now and then and it wont go away.
2. if taking a break, make sure to be back before the timer runs out.
3. if you do not check your emails and even your spam filter now and then, then it is 100% all on you and it also show you are not maintaining your mail address either.

speaking as someone who has had my house demo'd before, the emails are not reliable. twice now i haven't received a demo email and lost my plot due to unforeseen circumstances preventing me from logging in. have a little empathy. i hope OP is able to rebuild in the future. having a plot for 7 years is no small feat.

Funny , when I mentioned that i've had my plot since shirogane released in 2017 all I get is contempt lol

People don't respect the time that I've put in my plot. Because thee accountability looks like a moral call out to them.

i think that its impressive that anyone can keep a plot for so long, and be financially stable enough to continue to sub to the game to maintain that. kudos ! but not everyone's lives are like that. i've seen a lot of your other posts and they seem to boil down to you saying "lol skill issue", which is unproductive, rude, and likely has a role in why people don't respond positively to your input. congrats on having your plot for so long, and again i hope that OP is able to rebuild. o7

Yes, I feel empathy for the OP, and everyone who lost old houses. Then I've always said that SE emails are unreliable, so I made my tracker on my real calendar app outside of the time as a reminder to visit my home within 45 days too.

The only thing they find unproductive is the mirror i'm putting in their face.

You baby their feelings I don't. The player simply wanna blame the devs like it's all their fault and they hold no accountability whatsoever.

(Sorry that it comes off as ruthless, but for the fairness of everyone who doesn't have a plot, they need a chance at a shot at a plot. No exceptions. Not for me either.)

just keep off the auto renew.

Once your service account becomes inactive that's a message to check into your plot. You may or may not get an E-mail but you will ALWAYS hit the "Pay Up" screen if you ain't pay by day 31

Once you have secured your new house, please keep this in mind: always enter the house on the 1st of the month, or to be even safer, go in every two weeks. Do not rely on emails from them.

i'm owner of many houses and some of them i visit all the time and others, well, there is big and bright note for the: "check houses yoo!"
but i know i would be kinda pissed to lose any of them
