Outdoor Furnishing Limitations

Wondering what the reasoning/though process is around raising the housing furnishing limit is, and why you're allowed to place 60 of the same item, when other items are limited to only ten...

An example being, allowing players to place 60 of the Moai Statue, but then being limited to only 10 of the wildflower bed. There needs to be a limitation on the amount of singular items placed, or none at all. Yes, haha, it's funny - but I'd rather see someone with 60 wildflower beds, than 60 Moai statues.

That plot doesn't have 10+ of the "wildflower bed", let alone 5.. "lol" There are other types of flower furnishings placed. But not the specific one I mentioned as the example.

Agreed, I was excited to be able to place more Wildflower Beds to create a forest scene in my yard but quickly discovered the furnishing limit. It's quite puzzling since it's just 2D grass and after the graphical update there are many zones with a thick carpet of exactly that.

Devs please consider removing this restriction.

The reason for raising the furnishing limit is because players are always asking for an increase and the devs felt that the systems most players are currently using can handle it.

I know the flower beds you're thinking about have a limit because of their animations. The limit was needed back when those items were first added because of client processing power. Is the limit still needed with the current tech being used by the average player? Don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if the developers haven't thought about testing those old items on current systems to see if the limit could be increased or removed. Or seeing if they could perhaps update the items and their animation coding without breaking anything.

Would be nice if we could have more than the 10 flower beds. I was hoping to make a more verdant lush garden myself for a couple of my houses. Although at the moment the demand for outdoor furnishings is so high it's forced me to go island sanctuary to attempt to grab myself a couple. My bad for not buying in advance on diff characters.

Discovered today that the Oriental Grass Plot also has this issue and the limit is even lower at three total!
