He took answers from the crowd of what weapons players would want to see in game and here are the ones he called out by name and said are one of the weapons for one of the new jobs:

I'm kinda hoping for both crossbow and hammer, he said the whip would be hard to animate so that's out, yoyo was also a no given his reaction.

Crossbows are boring. I hope it's the Blitzball since someone shouted it out and held an actual blitzball in the air and he regarded it.

To be fair, he didn't actually specify that any of the things he repeated out loud was a correct answer, just that he heard someone say the correct one (and there were a lot of people shouting different things).

Given his response and expression alone, it actually feels to me that he responded more to hammer than anything else (and that could/would fit the Norse theme of the expansion) but we'll have to see.

As already stated, YoahiP didn't specifically say he listed one of the 2 jobs, just that someone called it out. That being said, my guess is Hammer. YoshiP's shirt featured Rhitahtyn sas Arvina. Rhitahtyn translates to "right judge." Judges have gavels. So I'm going with a Judge type tank wielding two handed hammer. I know some people are thinking either dual shields or gun shield but that's just too literal.

Someone also said fists. And he was wearing a Rhitahtyn shirt. Maybe the new tank is dual wielding shields and uses them to punch.

Hammer? Maybe some sort of viking?

Gun and Sword? Sounds like Corsair.

Flail? Iunno.

Bomb? So a sort of Grenadier job?

Yo-Yo? Kind of the one most out there and not on peoples radars.

Whip? I guess this could work as a ranged physical.
