I think it is time to shutdown these 3rd party tools and bots overnight, get FF14 on the same level at Blizzard. We need normal human gameplay, not a FF14 population full of bots and DDOS attacks.

Pretty sure implementing either of those will drive out more legit players than modders because most people don't want to deal with DRM that bogs down a game's performance or giving programs access to their computer at the kernel level for security reasons.

You would be technically correct that it would reduce the number of bots and DDOS, but only because the bot runners know a sinking ship when they see it and only a fraction of current players would bother to stick around so no waiting lines.

If Blizzard has it, Square Enix should equally have it as well. Everytime a player complains about the cash shop among other things, Square Enix could implement other means that the traditional player base might not enjoy…

I'd rather have plugins and bots than Denuvo. Linux users are already forced into a massive gray area to play the game.

99 % of the players someone like you would accuse of using tools are just bad (normal) players.

All anti-cheat softwares are completely useless because they won't prevent cheating and botting problem at all and of course not forget that all of these kernel level anti-cheat softwares are major security threat.

I say big NO to Denuvo anti-tampering DRM because it's well know causing perfomance problems.

There are SEVERE PERFORMANCE issues with 3RD PARTY TOOLS! Let’s not forget not being able to play the game (DDOS), massive privacy concerns (STALKING), and massive changes to FF14 gameplay that was NOT intended by the developers (MARE & DALAMUD).

It would also MITIGATE or STOP DATAMINING between patches, so we can actually be surprised and appreciate the developers efforts at the time of release.

We NEED DENUVO to bring back ORDER to the CHAOS!

The SAME ARGUMENTS were made to BLIZZARD and they did so anyway, and have MORE PLAYERS and MORE PROFITS. It has gotten to the point where the 3RD PARTY MODDERS have taken over FF14 and crippling its operations!

DENUVO ALL THE WAY! Put the 3rd party modders in their place!

WoW also has a massive bot and cheater problem and no, it would not stop datamining as WoW also has a huge datamining issue. Maybe don't speak on issues you aren't educated on.
