I know exactly what I’m talking about and there are Chinese cybersecurity companies ready to help Square Enix combat this rampant data mining issue today…

Has FF14 Mobile been datamined? NO!
This will literally be the “END OF TIMES” for 3RD PARTY MODDERS, whether it comes from the West or the East…
There are methods and professionals ready to CLEANSE this PLAGUE that has been destroying and defacing FF14.
AND These 3RD PARTY MODS will never see the light of day again.
Only Yoshi-P and Square Enix can save them now…

Then address the elephant in the room. The lead producer has a strong stance against any implementation that gains unnecessary access to areas of the computer the program has no rights to. He is vehemently against snooping around our personal devices. Now, tell me a single DRM program that doesn't sit in the kernel or doesn't snoop local files. If you can't, none will work for this game.

Crap no one wants that has been run through a genAI filter no less. This particular thread takes the cake tho, their responses are almost caricature-like in terms of trollishness.
I look just like the roes next door... if you happen to live next door to an amusement park.
Noty. Keep that crap out of my games, I'm good.
Oh I see you want to FFXIV to shut down, but I'd say we still can get something positive out of it.Denuvo is an anti-tampering DRM system used by Square Enix, but not on FF14 yet…

And Ricochet a kernel-level anti-cheat driver system developed by Blizzard/Activision to combat cheating.

I think it is time to shutdown these 3rd party tools and bots overnight, get FF14 on the same level at Blizzard. We need normal human gameplay, not a FF14 population full of bots and DDOS attacks.
Your thoughts?
If the story is so good, why does story skip never leaves bestsellers of FFXIV Store?

This is genuinely the worst thread I think I've seen on these forums. Are you another Titanman alt?

No, thank you. Next.
I think what they meant is general maintenance, not just content patches specifically. I'm sure good amount of us recognizes a certain running gag of 'horses' whenever maintenance took place. There's this small window of time where funny magicks are down, and that's when these in-game hubs becomes less populated.

Even if that is what they are referencing rather than content patches my first comment remains completely valid. Those people aren't playing the game. They just like to AFK in major cities or treat the game like a modern IMVU modbeast chatroom. I don't think anything of value is lost when they aren't around. On the contrary actually, if they all quit tomorrow I think the general quality of the population would improve.I think what they meant is general maintenance, not just content patches specifically.
