Forked Tower and temporary event cards ruined TT cards collection

In the past there were some arguable choices, like the putting the card only past stage 30 in Eureka Orthos. But this topped every arguable decision. I feel like adding a "one time only" event card (Elmer III) and another behind savage lvl content is too much. (maybe the Noctis and Clive card also suffer from the event problem, but for the noctis one, we knows the event comes back every expension).

Having all cards but one or none at all is the same thing when it comes to collection. You decided to gatekeep TT card collection Behind savage (and from what I collected, it's not even a garanteed drop) and event that you might miss. Great job on ruining that too.

This is literally the only card I am missing.

Fun fact, this is the only card locked outside of normal content. I thought it's just inside Forked Tower, I didn't know it was also random. Yikes. I really despise Forked Tower tbh. Horrible piece of content.

Because square thought that would be fun you know. You already have an achievement to run 100 forked towers, so players will naturally get TT card after... quite some runs no?! Amazing idea!

But then you have other side of players that's going to tell you that you have discords and it's really easy but its just you.

I thought event cards eventually get added to the TT card vendor at the Gold Saucer, unless I was wrong about that.

Not happy about it either unless they add an alternative way to get the card later. And even if they do, I’m still mad about the field notes being there with no Normal mode to farm for them.

Eureka got an NPC to play to win those cards, and Bozja’s were purchased with zone currency (field notes also didn’t require doing DRS…). And don’t get me started on the Eureka Orthos card featuring the level 10 boss, but you can only get it from RNG silver sacks above level 30. >.<

I went to check on a lower lvl reroll, and if the FF characters card are sold in the Gold Saucer, the Elmer one isn't.

At least they learned and the new deep dungeon one is available in floor 1 to 30, even if it's rare.

You can still do Forked Tower runs. It's also quite possible they will add an NPC for it. There is actually precedent for them adding Field Operation TT cards to an NPC. Same for alliance raids.

Oh right the Elmer card, I was thinking the FF cards when I heard "event cards" and forgot about that one.

I suppose its always possible for the event to come back around... but there's no telling when that might be. I'm still missing some of the weapons/mounts from the Yokai Watch event myself because I couldn't reach the zones I needed to do FATEs in, and the last one was almost TWO YEARS AGO. (April 24, 2024 to June 26, 2024)

Like the FFXV event, it's often between X.55 and the next expansion. That's when put some events back to fill the void at the end of the extension.
