Ok, I can't find another post on this. There was a definite attraction between her and the WoL, but in the last two expansions it seemed to disappear. I, personally, would like to see this relationship progress. As to how far it goes, that's up to the dev's, but I definitely want to see it back in the game. Call me what you will, but I really enjoyed those special moments between them. Anyways, get back on it!

The "attraction" was friendship, deep respect for a warrior, jealousy because wants to be that warrior herself. I never saw it as anything more than that. It stemmed entirely from the cutscene in Coils of Bahamut where she decides she wants to become a warrior like you. She actually kind of wants to outdo you but knows she can't, but she will keep trying anyway.

I loved so much the fact that there was one person I could trust with everything. If it was almost anyone else, I'd be thinking I'll have to go and help out since they'll struggle. But when she is handling things, I know it will be alright. That's how I saw the whole thing.

It never ceases to amaze me how people interpret it as a relationship all the time. They think this about Aymeric and so many others as well. I don't get it.

Dude she's 16 years old, 17 if we count her time in the First. The WoL is a full-grown adult. Even if you CAN argue she has a crush on the WoL it's just that, a harmless "schoolgirl crush". If they wanna show her being embarrassed about a crush on the WoL more fine but to pursue it as a reciprocated full-blown relationship would be beyond messed up so to this I say no. Hell no even, absolutely not.

It definitely died off after Shadowbringers but it was real and if you say otherwise you're just lying to yourself. IIRC Ishikawa was talking about the WoL and relationships and used Alisaie as an example.

Huh, I thought she was crushing alil hard. Im not really a prude, it was noticed. But for a cute moment sure. I got to see "The Tomboy letting down her hair" trope, and as a big Tomboy fan I rather enjoyed it.

I really can't see Ali, and Alp for that matter, as anything but my little siblings, in a found family manner, it's been a while, but I remember Ameliance saying something along the lines of thinking of WoL as part of the family, and my reaction was just "Hell yeah, I got adopted in! Now they are really my siblings, time to go give Alp a celebratory wedgie!".

On a more serious note, even if the crush does exist, here's the thing... children, and I do count teenagers as children they are just on the upper limit of children, having a crush on someone older than them is completely natural, I also don't view that crush being an a-ok to pursuing that relationship, they will grow out of it eventually, maybe they even come to realize that it was never really a crush, just a form of adoration they struggled to interpret in another way, and I can easily see that being the case with Ali, she idolized WoL and wanted to be close to them, but at some point she realized she was satisfied with being a close companion to them and that this adoration she felt wasn't that much deeper than that, and so she has moved on. That's all there is to it.

It's left to player interpretation, as in to allow each player to make up their own OC, so no fixed age, just "an adult". If you mean Meteor Survivor specifically, I don't think he has a stated age either, but he looks in his late 20s/early 30s to me, at least as of Shadowbringers.

It's a one-sided crush fueled by admiration that you can tease her about, there has never been any true romantic moments with your teenage-waifu, and considering the writers works with the WoL being "vague-adult-age" I don't see it happening any time soon (and I hope it will be never, as a huge "can we date the scions?" request hater), won't call you any names as I get a feeling this is just bait, but who knows with this wide world of ours.

What? In this story Alisae is teased about her admiration crush on the WoL, yes, but Lyse and Y'shtola makes no clear hints on liking the WoL like that. Lyse is flustered about a guy (not the WoL) being smitten with her, then is asked if she's got eyes for Hien, which she's flustered by too before thinking on someone else's admiration of Hien (so this is more Lyse/Hien than Lyse/WoL) and Y'shtola is asked if she fancies "Thancred, maybe? Or...one of the others?", which if others includes the WoL she straight up says no, and while she does tease both girls with a "if you must know" the only person she thinks about is her sister asking when she'll settle down with someone (no mention of the WoL).

Not to deny a "they all like the WoL" reading, but this is very much not a story of them talking about their crush on the WoL...
