Major Issue with Current NVIDIA Drivers and XIV Crashing

I just downloaded the latest drivers for NVIDIA, and they literally force-crashed FFXIV's Client. I think the Dev Team needs to take a look at it and figure out what's going on because considering the DLSS 5 crap that everyone's on about, I'm more concerned if XIV is incompatible with that driver in particular. Look into it, but don't give us DLSS 5.

Edit: It should be their 1/20/26 Release.

The error may be related to the graphics card.
We advise doing a complete uninstall of all NVidia based drivers from your machine, rebooting and downloading the latest drivers and reinstalling.
Make sure the GeForce Experience software is also installed.
Update as needed.
You may also want to do a clean boot on the machine by only loading the necessary Windows components and the game itself with nothing else running in the background.
You can find more information on the clean boot process via the Microsoft web site.
Lastly, please run and install all the latest Windows updates (both recommended and optional). This may require several reboots and attempt to complete.

I know this is an old one but I suggest that you install older nvidia drivers. That will fix your issue. Go for those game ready stable drivers that everybody's taking. One example is 581.08. This one is proven and very stable. Never take newer drivers unless really necessary.
