How the game is now there is no point to add anymore new healer jobs till it's fixed.

Most of that healing amounts to "press your big OGCD AoE heal every 30 seconds, right as it comes off cooldown", though.i mean.. you want to heal people theres plenty of content that allows you to do so. Literally every ex trial, savages, variant+, quantum give heals a lot to do
you cant make casual dungeons more heal intensive, because 90% of "casuals" would fail them then and they would vent even more

Apparently the peak of savage healing is pressing sacred soil before every raidwide and then indom after every raidwide
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

Blame the heal bots holding parties hostage for healing being on everybody
I'm like crit melds fine, I wonder when they'll be me mine! penta meld then i hit rewind, to watch it slot one more time and I got thit SODA!
-Reginald Pain #1 on the fa mic, blessed with Hydaelyns might, I'll kill ya on sight... *POW*

So because the average DPS is awful at doing their rotation and the average tank doesn’t have reprisal on their bar can we simplify them down to 1 button spam with a bloat of other actions then give half the actual useful actions to the other roles
I’ll gladly take hallowed ground and bloodwhetting off WAR and PLD’s hands given how bad the average tank I see is

Designs a role designated to attract dumb healbots > blames the dumb healbots for flocking into the role.
Lol.

Are those in the room with us right now? I very, VERY rarely see healers in Normal content who can't keep a tank alive. Plus when it happens in a dungeon, 9 times out of 10 the healer ran out of their fancy tools because stuff didn't die fast enough.
I see tanks who don't use mit or AoE abilities regularly, though. And all manner of interesting DPS players. I distinctly remember the time I had to Dance Partner our White Mage in a dungeon because they were putting out by far the most damage.
And yet, we don't see other jobs getting massive mitigation tools or huge damage nukes to compensate.
You guys who want to wall to wall cure spam are actively insane. The game isn't designed this way and if you don't like it there are other traditional mmos out there, and I swear if I read one "WoW is toxic" comment I'm gonna crash out.
The option to do higher end content is right there for you at any time and I can assure you healing is needed in Ex and above.
Dungeons are meant to be brain dead easy and tanks have self sustain because there will always be one WHM in expert who hits not one single button the entire run. You can't complain about easy content being easy when you refuse to try anything harder.
Even if they did make dungeons need more healing people would be in these forums rioting that due to various disabilities and other issues they can't heal that much and that dungeons are now too hard. Have we all forgotten the meso terminal incident?

Have you healed high end content? Because I have. The moment you figure out the fight, the healing becomes utterly braindead because all you do is press your OGCD on schedule and keep spamming your filler spell afterwards. Most modern fights also just wipe you if people make mistakes, so triage is not a skill that's worth cultivating. Admittedly, Dawntrail is slightly better about it but it's still not amazing. You guys who want to wall to wall cure spam are actively insane. Dude I have been in so many M11s parties where we were just melting to damage in weapons and one healer went so far the other day as to say the reason we were dying to damage was because we were running double caster and had an extra addle (no overlap) instead of feint. We also had MCH dismantle as an extra.Have you healed high end content? Because I have. There is a huge gap between good and bad healers in both high end and casual and thats why tanks have self sustain to make-up for the gap. Do you know how many times I have used Holmgang for a buster than been auto'd to death after because the healers were dreaming?
