Yoshi promised "better rewards" and now he even cuts down on them.
There was no reason to not put that carpet as a basic completion mount.
You people are responsible for the game going downhill by defending this non-sense

We lost the fucking basic 12 route completion mount that we always got before.
This is such a non-issue, why not put that stupid carpet as a reward???
Why do you people insist on defending every horrible change the game makes???

I'm not saying there couldn't be a mount reward from the 12 paths as well. I'm just saying that the mount reward wasn't removed, just moved, and that there is a difference.
And all I was saying was that from a game design perspective, it makes sense. If you think of it from a development standpoint, they were asked to make a midcore version of variant/criterion, so they did. Said midcore version needs a reward to make people do it. For whatever reason, they didn't have an extra mount in production for all 3 pieces of content, so they gave the 2nd mount to Advanced, because the likelihood of people doing all routes in the normal version is quite high, if this is something they actually want to do.
If they didn't reward all routes enough, it may be that the developers don't particularly care if players do all routes and are content for each player to clear it a different way.
My guess is they didn't think this many people cared how they got their mounts.

Why would they think that replacing a themed mount with a retextured version of a 10k glamour item for something as time-intensive as completing every route was a good idea? If they thought it was a good idea, concern is warranted.
Absolutely not casual friendly. If you need to find a PF for a chance at clearing something and spend 2 hours on it, it's NOT casual friendly.I don't see it, no, because 71-99 was perfectly casual friendly and plenty of non-raiders did it; it just wasn't as thoroughly unsatisfying as a lot of normal content is because things could actually kill and hurt and have consequences. Just enough to feel something. Enough to feel like there were stakes and that you had to use your eyes and be a little careful and think about your movement and action usage, but not so difficult that others couldn't save the day with theirs'.
That, and you need to have unlocked PoTD 1-50 to be able to run PT. Let's say there's a reason why so few people actually run Deep Dungeons (I know maybe... 6?). The changes made it more accessible for sure, but saying it's "casual friendly" is wrong.
The problem is everybody and their brother and sister want to call themselves casual.Absolutely not casual friendly. If you need to find a PF for a chance at clearing something and spend 2 hours on it, it's NOT casual friendly.

"I only do roulettes and duty finder content. Extremes, Savage, Ultimates and Criteron are out of my league. I'm a casual"
"I'll do Extreme trials, maybe a Savage Raid. Ultimates is where I draw the line. I'm a casual"
"I'll do all the content. Roulettes, Extremes, Savage, Ultimates. Anything, but I'm a casual!"
It seems like nobody wants to call themselves high end or hardcore. At best, they'll call themselves midcore.

I'll start taking people who scream about things not being casual friendly more seriously if there wasn't an ever moving goalpost to describe what "casual" content actually is.The problem is everybody and their brother and sister want to call themselves casual.

And don't forget the hairstyle and frame kit that are not available to buy with potsherds anymore.
And yeah, we got 3 variant dungeons in EW, and only one here.
But people who don't understand the basic argument that people get fewer rewards for the same kind of content are just trolling at this point.
Seeing that torn up Carpet at the end (13th route), I was livid learning that we don't get the carpet via completing all 12 routes like all we get is a Philosopher sandwich?...a sleeping mask ?...Gee thanks for the title *iguess* but I'd prefer if we got the carpet. Now I gotta do advance?? Man time to get stressed out for a carpet. Thanks alot whoever in the team decided this. Also I entirely forgot about the hairstyle and framer's kit. Wow. Just why did you guys not add in the twines and shit for savage gear? That would've been great. I'm so mad the more I think on this.
