OH my god you people will argue anything to not do content.

People will do what they enjoy, it's not that difficult. Not everybody likes raiding especially with the speed of it in DT. And people who don't like raiding STILL deserve content because, as I said before, they still pay a sub.

Why do you come in every thread where casuals ask for anything more than scraps just to be condescending and just insufferable? Nobody cares that you're a raider, stop propping yourself up, you're just a player like everyone else, every time I see you it's "oh my god you people, you casuals are so lazy, you want everything handed to you. This should take effort blah blah blah." you clearly have an agenda to push or something because the casuals do not want everything handed to them they just want content they can do that is FUN to them and to them raiding is NOT fun. How hard is that to get? Stop trying to act superior, you're not above anyone because you're a raider. Actual childlike behavior from you on these forums time and time again.

If you care so much about "effort" go do something in real life where it actually matters.

That was not an easy grind to finish this time around i felt.
Feeling pretty damn insulted with the lackluster face mask instead of a mount.

SE, How about you ACTUALLY TALK TO PLAYERS ABOUT REWARDS!

Clearly SE is increasingly out of touch with its player base. Oh unless you are Hardcore, then you get everything handed too you despite only playing 3-4 weeks each patch unlike everyone else who plays year round and gets largely ignored/taken for granted.

I don't think it's that difficult of a grind, but yes, the reward is a slap in the face seeing as it's essentially just the Pajama Eye Mask, which is basically sub-10K Gil,,.,

Which if you think about it is hilarious because this 'reskin'-esque stuff has actually been getting worse seeing as the 'High Mobility Vacuum Suit Identification Key' -- Which you get for doing 500K cosmic class score on every class, has already been re-skinned twice to my knowledge.

It's quite clear that they have a big problem with assets, and reward systems, and some people are unironically defending this mess.

Its almost like it takes. 8 weeks to gear 1 single job from savage let alone any alt jobs.

The savage loot system is absolutely ridiculous. That's coming from someone who doesn't play savage. Can't roll on loot even though you lost a roll? That pretty much negates every comment saying that Savage is doable in PF (because why even bother).

Arguably, the achievement one looks best.

But it's complete laziness from Square at this point to just give us recolors (like the Dawntrain hunts achievement reward...). If it was a recolor of a rare mount I wouldn't be mad, but this is ridiculous.

I don't think anyone is necessarily complaining about the type of content but moreso the reward structure in both directions. So talking about "what is casual content" in the midst of that just seems like an intentional red herring not intended to be answered. If you enter the thread and make it all about casuals not wanting to try advanced, why act surprised when no one is interested in debating you? The current player ire does not have to do with that, it's just about common sense, really.

I'd try advanced if I had a group for it, but I don't. I tried criterion and I had no desire to repeatedly beat my head against the wall for no rewards.

You don't need a group for Advanced as there is a matchmaking option to queue with random players like with normal Variant. And having cleared a few times myself, I can honestly say that it really isn't very difficult, I went in blind with three other random people and we cleared two bosses on the first try and the third after one wipe. The boss mechanics are a bit souped up, but there are no enrages and you have full access to variant actions such as Raise and can even use Phoenix Downs. Much like Pilgrim's Traverse, the bosses feel like that good spot between normal and Extreme(occupied already by some normal fights like SoS)

I do agree tho that it's bullshit they removed the significant, unique reward for completing all routes, at the very least they coulda given us a thematically appropriate face veil or even Pari of Plenty's mask/headdress thing
