I wonder how much of the lack of the mount is because the obvious Flying Carpet mount idea was already put in the Mogstation, and making any alternatives cheapens it's worth.

What actually annoys me the most, the more I think about it, is that it's not even a unique facewear. If it was a veil or anything thematically fitting, sure, but they took a crafted item that goes for like... 4-10k and slapped it on as facewear and call it "a new reward." honestly it's just insulting.

They could have literally taken one of the already existing veils (like the Thavnairian Turban or the Moonward Veil of Striking/Scouting), removed the ugly extra bits and made that a new facewear item.

Variant dungeons are my favorite content, and they managed to screw it up too.
