Farewell Friend

I know Faerie has grown a lot since I first started playing in ARR 2.0 and idk how many people on Faerie knew him, but my friend who I met through this game back at the start passed away last Sunday his name was Tootsie Roll he was a Lalafell who became a male miqo'te and even a female miqo'te there at the very end

Tootsie is literally one of the best friends I could have asked for
we are all going to miss him.

Didn't know him to be honest, but nonetheless - sorry for your loss. So awful to lose a friend and I'd assume he was quite young?

yeah he was only 34, they just found him at his desk said it was natural causes but idk im still struggling with the reality of it all

That aside, I think it's fair to say that no apology is required - we all grieve in our own way and the fact is, it's touching that you've chosen to honour them with a 'send off'.

FFXIV is a game with an MSQ that wears it's heart on it's sleeve and often places quite some emphasis on dealing with loss; listen to 'Flow' (from Endwalker) and it's lyrics (about Hydaelyn welcoming a soul back to the lifestream following death) - I know other players who found it poignant in these circumstances.
