New location from older areas

So, with the next expansion coming, I’m hoping that we’re also visiting older location to see places we couldn’t go before. Like Hingashi or area in Eorzea, it would save a lot of time and money to do that. Heck, we have explored half what Tural had to offer!

West Shroud got completely removed going from 1.x to ARR.

Hingashi we've only seen Kugane and Mount Rokkon.

There's also the area between Orthard, Radz-at-Han and Garlemald.


And the ever famous topic of a place we will apparently never get to, Meracydia

Precisely! They can pull that out if they want to!

We got so much out of Eorzea (and parts are still unexplored) and then a single area for other regions/continents if that. Some are relegated to Field Operations/Alliance Raids only... that's crazy. And Eorzea is one of the smallest continents!

Well, I'd like to see the rest (roughly 80%) of Mor Dhona, eastern and lowland Coerthas, northern and eastern parts of Vylbrand, the rest of the Sagolii Desert all the way down to Cape Deadwind, the areas below the Sea of Clouds, ...

And the majority of Coerthas and Mor Dhona too. I would love for them to reintroduce Coerthas its original 1.x state, like part of it somehow escaped the frost. Coerthas was such a beautiful zone and they ruined it because they wanted an ice zone.

I would love to see them expand on some of the old zones. They are small and every single one of them has areas that you can tell were zone exit/entrances that were blocked off just in case. So why no expand on them? WoW is currently doing that and its great.

I would love to see them expand on some of the old zones. They are small and every single one of them has areas that you can tell were zone exit/entrances that were blocked off just in case. So why no expand on them? WoW is currently doing that and its great.

Iirc part of the removed zones were reintroduced as pvp maps, some removed again at this point like Lichenweed. Shatter for example is set in the eastern lowlands, with the remnants of Owl's Nest.

But generally I agree, we have so many places left to explore on our home continent alone.

The mystery door in dravania forelands, gelmorra and the west shroud are areas I wouldn't mind getting actual zones out of.

My kingdom for us to see Abalathia proper (not just the floating isles above it), and Aerslaent both. We've gotten scraps at best of roegadyn lore, hellsguard especially, so man it'd be long overdue.

We've still got so much we haven't seen, even in "old" areas, that I'd absolutely love to see and expand upon, over any potential shard-hopping that may be in the future. Hells, can we revisit Gyr Abania/Ala Mhigo, too? Maybe finally a proper instanced city-state zone?
