Question to people on Chaos DC & Light DC

I'm on Twintania Light DC.
Have you been noticing a bit of lag lately? Especially in dungeons, it doesn't register when I attempt to double weave my abilities. It will register the first one, but not the second. And a friend of mine is doing the moon crafting thing, but can't do it properly, due to the lag.

I've always had lag issues with packet loss on EU worlds, that causes attacks to flat out not register. Ironically, I don't have these issues on NA worlds despite there being significantly higher ping and more obstacles to the server, most famously the NTT nodes.

I did certainly notice an uptick the last week or so though. Not enough to stop me clearing M9S on it but I did notice it.

I haven't had any issues. Not noticed any lag, no issues double weaving etc. The only problem I did have was when I was on a wireless connection, but that hasn't got anything to do with the connection to the servers as it was solved by going wired.

I've had log in issues for quite a few days recently (the launcher would time out before even loading) but I could circumvent it with a VPN. I connected via Frankfurt which gave the best result for me, but Berlin and Düsseldorf also worked well generally speaking. However even with VPN I experienced lag and DCs in PvP games that didn't occur for me to the same degree in the past.

Today I was able to log in without VPN again but my ping was very unstable (min/max ranged from 12ms to 124ms with an average of 40ms). When I connected to the same VPN as before it was stable at around 13-14ms.
But yeah, recently there have been all kinds of weird connectivity issues in my experience.

I've had the issue every now and then for years, noticed it first while playing Gunbreaker in Asphodelos savage back in early Endwalker. Seems like EU routing to the SE servers is just terrible sometimes.
A VPN can fix it if the VPN provider has faster routes than whatever your ISP uses.

Some uncommon evenings it's just terrible, yesterday was one of those, totally unplayable in any kind of dungeons or whatever content. Couldn't even single weave, character positions refreshed every handful of seconds so I had every party player and mob freeze them jump forward by 20 yalms again and again.

As usual tried reseting router, didn't do much.

I am on chaos and I noticed a lot of lag last night around 8 pm not logged in today so not sure if it has eased up but everything was taking a while.

I haven't had any lag for several years now. I think the last time may have been during Endwalker launch?
