Is there any way to level outside of dungeons nowadays? I'm so bored.

Ever since I got back into the game, I've been trying to get my other jobs leveled. The problem is, spamming DT dungeons is starting to get mind-numbing. Occult Crescent is 100 only (which, why? Bozja was amazing BECAUSE you could use it to level. Why change that?) Roulette is only good once a day, not to mention the DPS queue times are driving me nuts.

Is there something I'm missing here? I only really started playing when 7.4 dropped, so maybe there's some secret leveling method I'm not aware of. It used to be spamming Aglaia back when I last played, so is there something like that nowadays?

Edit: Second question. Is Bozja still good for leveling at 90+? Please say yes. I need something else to do other than spamming DT dungeons. I fear I am going to throttle Thancred if I have to deal with him making us take the long way in that first dungeon again.

The developers designed OC without the possibility to level up because that functionality is meant to be part of the Deep Dungeon. Bozja was an exception due to no DD being released in ShB.

Agreed though, more methods to level up would be good and OC not letting you do it was a miss.

I wouldn't mind it if was actually possible to queue into Pilgrim's, but I've tried a few times but never got even a single other person in the queue. I'm debating on just trying to solo it, though I've never done it before. And... honestly my track record with soloing deep dungeons is embarrassing. o_o I'm also considering trying my luck with Bozja, and seeing how bad the EXP drops are from there nowadays. Even if there aren't a lot of people playing it anymore, anything is better than more DT dungeons at this point.

I also used FATEs a lot for leveling, but even I find FATEs boring, and I like dungeons. You can at least get more EXP and variety in dungeons by queueing for the highest level one you can get into (and probably doing FATEs to pass the time until queue pop).

Also alliance raid roulette is good for a lot of EXP. (So is MSQ roulette but I refuse to do it except to help a sprout because it’s far too boring.)

    • Deep dungeons, such as Palace of the Dead (1-60), Heaven-on-High (61-70), Eureka Orthos (81-90) and Pilgrim's Traverse (91-100).
    • Society quests (formerly beast tribes or tribal quests). There are 2 battle beast tribes for 51-60 and another 2 beast tribes for 61-70. There are the Pixie dailies for 71-80, Arkasodara dailies for 81-90 and Pelupelu dailies for 91-100.
    • Daily hunt bills from the hunt boards in Foundation (51-60), Kugane (61-70), Crystarium (71-80), Old Sharlayan (81-90), Tuliyollal (91-100). These entail killing normal enemies. Level 1 hunt bills are for the first 4 levels, level 2 are for the next 4 levels, and level 3 are for the final 3 levels... roughly, but you can just do all of them.
    • FATE farming. You do FATEs in the areas that you were chronologically going through the MSQ in. For example, when you were doing the level 70-71 quests, you were in Lakeland, so you'd go there, or the start areas of Kholusia and Amh Araeng. Then Il Mheg for 73ish. etc.

Another way to level up is Khloe's book. It's worth 50% of a level, so if there's a job you don't like, you can grind it that way. Of course, that's just once a week...

Yes. The 4 man PvP. If you are competitive do ranked but it gets pretty sweaty. Casual is also sweaty, but for no reason. With the added drawback that some people queue and don’t even try or know how to play.

That being said it’s a lot less boring.

Unless they nerfed it by now, frontlines also gives a decent amount of exp.

They nerfed what? The exp? I haven't heard of them doing that anywhere. I know I got my NIN to 100 that way. It was a win win because I needed the glam, I could rank up and level it all at the same time.
