I know a lot of people run it but it seems most of us have statics for it. Have you tried PF? Personally, I wouldn't queue up for it but if I saw a PF, I would happily hop in and help out.

Jeeqbit respectfully even you need to let go of the copium and optimism on this one.The best time to try is on reset day (Tuesday) especially during peak hours, because people are doing their weeklies. Other good times are weekends (because there are many weekend-only players). Another good time to try is on Monday because people are doing weeklies last minute (you can always rely on humans to procrastinate until the last minute).
My advice for beating the floor 10 boss without any aetherpool is this: go through it as a tank (totally braindead, they can't hardly die). Hope that you get 2-3 poisonfruit incense. Use one every single time adds spawn. This is how I solo'd it with no aetherpool.
Now, if boss does add phase again and you can't kill boss in time, your options are:
- Save burst for the adds. The adds need to die, and your burst helps achieve this.
- Kitchen sink as a tank, starting with longest ones (Rampart).
- Invuln as a tank.
Barkbalm might also work. I didn't try it, but it applies a big DoT to the boss and adds. Think you can only use one per player, so may as well discard the others and hope for poisonfruits.
I'd say that about 33% or 50% of the time, you get 2 poisonfruits. Some runs, you'll get no incense or nothing favorable, so it'll likely take a few attempts. Poisonfruit does little to higher level bosses, but to the first one, it wipes out like 33% of its health along with the adds, so it's an effective way to cheese it.
The bosses after floor 10 are way easier. I'm not saying they can't be challenging, but they don't dive at you, stun you and wipe you out like that. The ones after give you the opportunity to hit invulns and heals.
Asking someone to play on a specific day is too much to ask out of someone who has the right to enjoy the game when they decide to login and play.
They're paying for a sub and the game should provide them with the content they desire to play when they log on. What if they work tuesday then what? I'm sorry but your reply is flawed.

Firstly, there are two rules in life, and not everyone is taught these two rules: life isn't fair, and life isn't perfect.
Humans are humans. They have specific behaviours... such as logging in on Tuesday due to the weekly reset, or only logging in at weekends because they are weekend-only players. You can follow the herd, or miss out. That is how life works.
Secondly, I mentioned an option for doing it whenever they want. The solo option, which I have fully tested and succeeded at myself, and explained how to pull off in detail.

Isn't that literally the problem of all old content that's not in roulettes or am I missing something?

May have been mentioned, but if you're opening a PF, describing it as 1-30 Silver Sack farming can bring people. Those stones are where hoards have a chance to drop the Ornamental Shrublet, which is still about 15M+ gil on the market. I've gotten mine for now, but I may return to it to get a second and/or level my GNB. Hang in there boss.

That's not so at all. The rainbow leaf mount and Triple Triad card can only be obtained from 1-30 hoard sacks. The best place to get illumined aetherpool glass is from 51-70. Wind-up Feo Ul only comes from hoard sacks in 31-70. The main reason to go through 71+ is to clear it; the 99 boss drops jack and squat. Clearing gives you a tome that enough of can get you some neat jewelry and achievements eventually if you do it enough, but no one is out there grinding the 99 boss for anything.I see why now, SE in their infinite wisdom made the only worthwhile stuff farmed from floor 99 boss. Zero reason for people to run the other floors aside from kinda mid looking glamours that you can find on market for like 5000 gil.
It makes a lot of sense why floor 1 - 30 aren't being ran publicly.
They actually did a pretty good job making sure all the floor sets were worth going through for different reasons. Of course, that doesn't mean people are doing so with Duty Finder. Your best bet, if you don't want to solo it (the floor 10 boss is a butt without aetherpool--it's not the boss, it's the adds that murder you) is to set up a party finder. Say you want to go through 1-30 for the challenge log. Or try 1-30 for the story, you'll get some people happy to help.

You’re gonna have to put it in party finder

Go run Orthos for a bit, and then you'll realize how easy Pilgrim's actually is.
1-30 give the mount, unlike the other deep dungeons that have the mount drops on 71+I see why now, SE in their infinite wisdom made the only worthwhile stuff farmed from floor 99 boss. running the lower floors is actually worth more than ever before
also the valuable shards dont drop past 70 and 70+ gives no gear upgrades anymore
71-99 are the worst floors to run in any aspect now
