If we ever face off against a boss similar to Black Cat or another Miqo'te, I want to see a move called Murder Mittens. I think we've already got "Biscuit Maker" so it fits right in.

"We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - OK! ✅ to armor
"... and mounts?
We need a boss where like an enrage cast is literally called "Final Fantasy."

Time Swap
Similar to the Alex move but where as you are targeted for a PBAOE and the other member of the party is targeted for party stack - it swaps during a time stand still phase so you now have the party stack and the other peep has the pbaoe
In some games you have a boss that spawns a horde of monsters/adds to deal with, before you can deal him the finishing blow, or acting as a soft enrage.
Would be kinda cool to have one player being forced into stasis, having to charge a really long cast to unlock lb4 or some incarnation/ascended mode where you unlock duty specific powerful cinematic like actions, while the team has to make sure you stay untouched for the long time period of you readying the skill.
Somehow reminds me of Void Ark now, where the boss launches some energy attack in the transition as if we are in DragonBall...if a player could launch such a thing or charge it as his own will. That would be pretty cool.
We had something similar I guess in uwu with the beyond limits buff, enabling players to use multiple lb3 in row. Such mechanics were quite cool, if given more possibilities on how and when to use it.

Gunbreaker using Terminal Velocity from PVP, but it gets bigger every 3 seconds. If you fail to get it to a certain hp it gives a permanent damage vuln up. So the tanks take more damage. Or could have every stack it gets has a vuln up. Max stacks=reset
A happy family between a viera, a goddess and a child
I'd start by adding unpredictability in which actions the boss takes, and taking account what it faces against. Lots of ranged enemies means it fires off ranged AoEs, lots of melee enemies means it repositions itself so that its cleave-style attacks hit as many of them as possible in addition to the tank, most damage dealers grouped on one side means it casts a shield on that side and so on. Things you can anticipate, but never predict.
And then subtly change the algorithm it uses to determine what it does, its AI, every week based on the gathered statistics from all the recent fights.

Anything cool to mess with the DDR brainrot.
Secretly had a crush on Mao
I'd like for a boss to use cleansable CCs, to give the Healers a priority system of sorts.
Drop a Heavy on everyone + giant AoE. Who gets the esunas before it goes off and who can survive the AoE?
Give a Silence to some casters.
Stun a melee for a few seconds and push them away.
Binds already exist in the game, but most are a destructible mob so that's fine.
Then again I'm a Bard who loves Paean, so I'm heavily biased.

Arena, multiple stages of trash and mechanics with boss coming in at end. Audience excitement meter, raises each clear but more so if cleared quickly, lbs are used, or no deaths each stage. Higher the meter the more likely they will help out on boss phase, toss out potions/weapons (missed out opportunity with chairs in arcadion) to use or audience boos/tosses trash boss to stagger them. However, the higher audience meter also enrages boss and unlocks additional mechanics, gives him buffs, making it a more difficult fight.
