Gods I agree with this. Please, I picked my favorite jobs, let me play them, not some half assed version of a job.

Cut the talking by 60%, then have the remaining cutscenes all be voice acted. It feels so strange when half of the time the people I'm talking to are just moving their lips in utter silence.
And whenever I'm forced to play another character I never understand why they all play totally gutted versions of their jobs. Well, except for the Unknown Imperial Soldier who was just a nameless grunt - the only occasion where having just 3 buttons made sense to me, seeing how successful Garlean grunts were in battle
