I'd be all for this to be honest. It'd also make it less frustrating to have to wait 1-2 expansions to farm some raids for dyeable gear. One can dream.

Dyable has always been savage treat since the beginning of the normal/savage tiers in 2015, that's not going to change. It's just one encouragement to do the content, just like how they won't give you two same tome level rings, you will need the savage ring until the midway patch when more options open.
