DDoS two hours after the patch goes live is ridiculous

Weird coincidence that NA gets DDOSed right as a frontlines match starts and one team is near entirely unaffected by it, letting them win with a 1000 point lead.

It IS rather oddly coincidental that there's a new mount right now that requires 100 wins on the new map... and some people already have it despite the constant DDoS going around which ALWAYS leaves at least one team unaffected every single time.

7.4 was on December 16th by the way, when the mount was added, and some people had it before Christmas, so not even 2 weeks later.

Did my last night with a solid group. Bit of a shocker as it was after midnight my time. One of the tanks dc'd and few people lagged causing a wipe. Second attempt almost ended in a wipe cause of lag that almost took everyone out. I was one of the few not effected so saved the attempt with LB. Been using cloudflare warp it has helped greatly.

Oh look another disconnect, this time while i was doing some crafting. I hope this happens during next weeks world first race and SE gets more widespread backlash for this so it's something they will actually address for once and not with a copy cutter lodestone response.

I'm joining the forum for the first time to lend my weight to this. These issues seem like they've been going on all late autumn and early winter with no relief. I've lost crafts and expensive materials to this, I've spent 20 minutes waiting in a raid for a player to reconnect, and most egregiously I've zoned into an alliance raid only to have 16 of the 24 players immediately disconnect. This is substantially impacting my ability to have fun in game. Square Enix, what will it take to fix this problem?
