Look at the difference between the raiding gear from WoW and ff14. Blizzard designs a unique armor set for each class unlike FF14 where roles share the same designs.. this is what really gets me upset.. can we do better??

I don't think that gear looks good, no. It's a specific aesthetic for a specific style of game, and if it's what you prefer then maybe that is a game you could play.

There is similar gear in this game in PvP or for tanks but most of it is a little less inflated and thick, but still quite bulky or spiky.
