Patch 7.4 MSQ was Good. Bravo.

There was very little Wuk Lamat.
The story remained interesting.
The new characters were enjoyable.
The new zone was nostalgic.
The music fit perfectly.
The dungeon was what you'd expect.
The trial was innovative and made you think.
The main character felt like a main character.

Overall I'm impressed.
Well done, Square-Enix.

MIND YOU I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE ARCADION.
That story was dumpster fire.
That ending was so bad.
The reasoning behind it made zero sense.
Set the Arcadion on fire and never look back.
(At least the first boss was really challenging, it's the only one where I wiped)

Now, I should commend whoever wrote the Arcadion's finale. It's the second time in my life a finale has made me want to forget the whole storyline existed to begin with (the first was The Great Deceiver). Congratulations.

I would suggest you stop reading this thread and finish Arcadion.

Regardless of my opinion, you should see how it unfolds with the least amount of external opinions in advance to influence your view.

I liked the MSQ, only thing that was a bit weird was G'raha's voice sounded like a whole different character during cutscenes, or maybe my PC's audio was being strange, not sure.
Dungeon was okay.
Trial was strange and interesting in a good way.
Arcadion fights were pretty good, the story aspect of it however was not good at all - I wish I skipped the cutscenes and didn't read any dialogue now, and I'm someone that tries to remain neutral about those things.

The MSQ was fun. Not spectacular but fun.
I REALLY enjoyed the voices during the fight with the Scions - please keep that. Reading their lines while fighting isn't great, and this makes the fights so much more fun.

I loved the Arcadion fights too, though I agree that the story was a bit of a mess and didn't really make sense.

Sucks that OC is broken but these things happen, I suppose. Hope they'll fix it soon.

I hope SE will put out an official statement regarding G'raha's VA soon though... there's a LOT of speculation and worry right now, and it would be nice to at least know for sure if JB was replaced - though I'd honestly be sad forever if that was the case.

Arcadion ending was mildly cliche, but overall the Arcadion story is much better than the dawntrail MSQ. Though 7.4 MSQ was generally actually good.

FINALLY!!

No more pretend fake Mexiperutexas, and at long last I feel like I'm in a fantasy world once again. Krile finally got some proper attention, and they also FINALLY sent the twins away, and I say this as Alisaie's biggest fan. I love the twins, but they should have never come to Tural.

Sign me up. Whatever they're cooking, I'm intrigued.
