Cj/Whm having any elemental spell is out of place. The current story line doesn't explain the split at all. It's half-assed and needs to be redone so that Black Exclusively gets all elemental spells and ancient magic spells.
Thaumaturge and Conjurer can keep their spells now, but Black mage should have all of it, and spells redone so they combo with Int modifier. Problem solved, but no one likes the easy path... and it sickens me.

I like the way things are going tbh, it seems SE are going back to earlier games where blm used thunder, fire and ice magic. Air, earth and water fit in very well with cnj too, but thats why if tornado and quake were implemented I would suggest them focusing on buffs/debuffs opposed to damage so as not to upset blm.

Probably some more defensive debuffs or new effects, like Tornado lifting an enemy into the air and temporarily preventing ground-based/physical-based moves. Of course it would have a long recast if it was powerful.
Yeah we definatley need reraise to cast on ourselves and other PT member for PVP. Another thing is like a 5 sec invincible skill for whm for PVP =D whm always the first to go down..and first one targeted ; ;
Invis would be a great spell, I kind of miss sneak/invis/deodorize from ffxi (the third just for fun!) but I haven't really found myself in any situations where I've needed them desperately. Maybe in the future though?
Reraise would also be awesome too! so many times it would come in useful!
Could Float be possible? If jumping is possibly going to implemented, it could be like an extended jump, could be useful for avoiding certain ground based attacks?

Of course there's still Aeroga/Stonega but the blizzard spell skipped a line so why not this one? WHMs already do a lot of nuking in parties if things are going well so it'd be cool to see them get some growth in that department.

Plus aren't the blm elements considered "dark" elements in ffxi, and the whm elements are "light" in ffxi? So really it still makes sense.
Devout job would be awesome, I'd love to see them as a sort of shaman or geomancer though, summoning huge earthquakes, tornados and storms, while summoning protective barriers for party members and aoe healing.

Actually THM doesn't have all the Umbral elements, more like 2/3rds of them.. What was it... It's either Lightning or Ice that's actually an Astral element.
I remember a friend of mine told me an easy way to recognize which ones were Astral and which were Umbral. The Astral ones could be put into a bottle and the Umbral ones couldn't (so it'd be... Water, Earth and Ice that are Astral and Wind, Lightning and Fire that are Umbral)
