new race suggestion? :D

Based on a completely informal poll of my friends, they'd like something that is bigger than Lalas but smaller than other races (like Pelu-size) and of the furry sort. Little fox people or similar.

It would be nice to have something that isn't "pretty". I know jrpg blah blah blah, but having something like Worgen or Tauren would be fantastic. Or allowing us to have big, brutish, viking type dudes or rough, curvy, amazonian women. Everying being so pretty and mostly petite is just boring.

Just give me something that doesn't look like it should be on a waifu pillow for once.

I'm a big fan of the Yuke from Crystal Chronicles. Let the different face options be different helmet options. I know they are clunky looking and don't quite fit standard skeleton models, but I find them very endearing.

The main reason SE said we can't have even shorter hyurs is that they are children-coded and they don't want to put them in dangerous situations as a potential race in the future. Also, F aura exist for the petite and shortest race along with the ever popular catgirls and Midlanders too.

But Lalafells, who walk like toddlers, emote like toddlers and look like 5 year old children are ABSOLUTELY fine
It's also super okay to have Alphinaud and Alisaie, who are actual teens, fighting for their lives and potentially getting brutalized by raidwides in dungeons/trials

The real reason is that they don't trust the community not to be disgusting, which is honestly a good call

I'd honestly just want them to stop adding races and focus on improving the character creation systems.
It feels ancient and everyone looks the same because they flock to the same 1-2 immediately "aesthetically pleasing" face options. We're never ever getting face morphs so we're never going to be able to fine tune faces to our heart's content, but at least give us 8 different choices for the face to compensate

That's without getting into things we should already have, like facial hair or au ra horn choices separate from the face you've picked

If they ever add more playable races they should add more distinctly non-human races. Personally I'd love to see FFXII Moogles or Burmecians (but only if done correctly with digitigrade rat legs).

Litterally my greatest fear with Burmecians..... We'd probably end up with Jane from Zenless...
