It is pretty spot on... we listen to critics and pointers and try and work from those criteria..... in general NA it is much alike you don't pay my subscription or whatever...

If can learn something new, if can provide information and whatever have an open mind, it is a role playing game after all.

But it is not all that is like that in the EU either, but as we are many cultures most of us know the importance of trying to fit in and not to step on anyone's toes, NA could learn a lot from that... JP servers is very much like that as well with trying and then succeeding and finally on top on that learning something.

On EU it's basically an unspoken understanding of bare essential courtesy. It's also why we can have a bit of trust in other players without having to saerch all profiles for red flags.

I don't know how bad NA is but EU isn't like the bees knees... I've had people crash out and rage in normal content. Savage+? insane how many people prog lie I even had a exfriend tell me I should prog lie "because I watched the guide" I thankfully didn't listen, because I genuinely feel bad if im holding down a group on clearing

I've seen a few but they're super rare here, yes. You get more people grilling sprouts that ask not to pull nicely rather than tanks throwing a tantrum because someone is doing it.
It really doesn't hurt to be patient with the new players...

I mean is this actually a common thing experienced commonly by common people in NA ? I've been playing since SHB on EU and I've really never heard it. Only reason I know it exists is YouTube drama vids and these forums.

Are you sure it's not because you gave actual helpful advice on how to play their class and what to do in a particular fight rather than snark or rage like most players NA-side would do in situations like that? Let's not act like the terrible attitudes you find in NA are strictly in how we respond to criticism.
