Midgar in FF XIV, (Dawntrail spoilers)

i wouldnt say SHB was heavily ff8 referenced. I guess doomtrain was chosen because they already used 6's and a train boss fight is cool. They could have gone with Ark from ff9 though, but maybe they are holding that for later.

ff8 is my favourite so im definitely Nostalgia compromised.

A surprising number of people consider it "the dedicated FF8 expansion" because of GNB and Eden, even though Eden was pretty light on direct references.
