Still deeply disappointed that Aurelie has never regained her cute wide-eyed look, distinct nose or accurate human lip shape.

A couple of my alts have gotten better after they fixed something with the lighting, but others are still irretrievably changed and I miss them.

I've been meaning to do comparison reviews again but I've been on other projects.

I also agree about disliking the newer hyper-textured gear. It displays poorly on my screen (all the tiny details shift and twinkle endlessly) and they often dye blotchily.

They have been doing little retouches in every patch, I hope they aren't done yet and in 7.4 we can see more fixing and get another Fantasia accordingly :' ) (althought Fantasia shouldnt be needed, but... there is people like me who changed the character while waiting to be fixed)

I've seen no changes, elezen males have been getting absolutely shafted this entire time.

They do seem to have fixed the shadowing that was making my Duskwight look deathly ill.

I continually ask for more male midlander facial hair options, and I will again ask for more male midlander facial hair options.

Additionally, I have noticed femail Aura look "better" to me at least. Something always seemed way off to me about them, but I not sure if it was something done to the way the scales were attached to their face or what, but it just appears better to me. I can understand that these kinds of changes would upset people who preferred the old look more. I wonder if there is a way to retain the old look or produce more options via the character creator, or add more sliders to it in regards to facial options. I know we are working with essentiall ancient tech/software and code by this point but for me making your character as customizable as you can get them is a HUGE part of the fun for me. Love the strides toward more glamour options, and added dye channels, and whoever is responsible for these endeavors, thank you, sincerely.

The people I play with, and the FC I am in really have a great deal of fun with it.

I'm not sure what they did in 7.3 but they ruined Hyur females. Again. It was bad in 7.0, got better in 7.2, and now... nope.

Also don't remember that silly smiling resting face on Miqo so I had to change that too. Such disappointment.

And when are we getting texture upgrades for older gear? So many armor pieces just look bad (Neo-Ishgardian armor - love the look, but the texture is just terrible).

I was happy when they made that adjustment to my masc face 2 Duskwight, but I noticed that, while they reduced the discoloration around the eyes on face 1, it's still looking darker than what it was before the update. And I have my doubts that they'll retouch it again after doing it once... Never mind the other issues with that face.

Maybe needless to say, I'm still unhappy with where my catboy's at (face 4, for the record) -- who's seen no changes since that philtrum "fix", which still looks like no more than a crude application of the Photoshop smear tool.

I'm not optimistic at this point, but I haven't been for a long time now.

At the very least, I'd appreciate more transparency about this from the devs, but they refuse to tell us even what they've changed with each minuscule update, let alone their goalposts or god forbid a time frame.

Funny how we have opposite opinions on Midlander female faces - I loved the slightly more pouty lips for F5 during 7.0, then they changed it to be more in line with EW during maybe 7.2? I don't know, one day I logged in and my character looked off to me. Turns out it was the lips.
I just wish they made these changes into optional traits/features rather than forcing us into one of the other every odd patch, and without warning too. One day you wake up and your character may have lip injections, or may have mysteriously lost them. lol

I have found that on face 5 Midlander if you choose no lip colour you can sort of see the old lips and they look less rubbery so I chose that. The other faces still struggling and I look at face 2 and see that beautiful pouty mouth gone and her nose looks squished along with face 1 and the bags I am struggling >.<
