They don't care about the NA players. For some reason no one is talking about it here but Crystal folk sure are. Plus I've been caught up in the DDOS strikes since Tuesday, so they are a thing. Today, Nov 8th 2025, was the worst. It kept happening every 10 minutes instead of every hour. Apparently the folks on EU are just getting lag now and then but nothing as bad as the NA folk. So clearly SE doesn't care enough to do anything about it.

One thing about this, is that you're paying an active subscription to play. So, for every minute you are losing your sub money if you choose to play but can't due to server getting ddosed.

Square Enix is in a terrible state. When is this company getting bought out? If they had toughened it out just a little bit longer, they could've been bought by a good company like Tencent. Now we're lucky if they get liquidated to the Saudis. Something's going on in leadership if they're doing mass layoffs in America while the American servers are unusable. I mean, how much does Square Enix really have left in the tank at this point?

They could also, provide users compensation for lost time, compensation for lost content runs, and provide explanations and what they are doing about the problem. They haven't...

Not that simple. For one, SE, as a whole, is involved in multiple industries, such as publishing and merchandising. They are large enough that any M&A would require the acquisition of not only the gaming branch, but also all other branches of the company. Unless we are talking about them selling their titles, which I don't think is probable, acquisition is unlikely.

Compensating for lost time could incentivize the bad actors to do it even more.
