This is definitely something that will cause some backlash because of how busy that time of year is. I am a fairly casual savage raider and even I can see how many people could potentially be unhappy with this in the World Race crowd.

If I were Yoshi-P I would push 7.4 to either release 1-2 weeks prior, or delay savage by 1 week so that it falls on the week of New Year's. it's still kind of crappy to have it drop mid holiday, but better New Year's than two days before Christmas.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I'll be praying to baby jesus for christmas savage. I'll only have to use 8 hours pto sense I have the rest of the week off by default. A savage delay will cost me 32 hours pto instead sadge.

Devs wanted to enjoy the holidays without having to worry about emergency patches on the holidays.

This is the first time they've had this long on the Savage delay.

It's a good compromise. Means the normal patch schedule isn't delayed but also avoids Savage release over a major holiday. It's late enough the devs can enjoy New Year's. And we get a few more weeks to obtain tome gear and run the new EX for weapons and such.
