Aetherochemical Research Facility - Final Boss Fight

I think the second phase of the final boss fight in Aetherochemical Research Facility needs to have a jail. Repeatedly I have had parties refuse to wait for a sprout who is watching the cutscene and they start the fight early. Both cutscenes around that final fight are long, I know, it's kind of a pain if you have to wait, I get it, but also because the second one is a pretty long cutscene, that means the sprout/cutscene-watcher misses out on a significant portion of the fight because other people won't wait, which isn't fair to them either.

It would be nice if the cutscenes were maybe shorter, or if the dungeon was restructured to be quicker, especially there at the end. I don't know how feasible any larger changes are though, but I think a jail could be a pretty quick fix to a repeating problem.

You may as well just stick ARF on the MSQ roulette then make those cutscenes unskippable

That cutscene is far too long to reasonably expect to sit in a normal dungeon

I think if it were made with today's design principles the phase two boss would be either a trial unto itself (which would be cool, please do that SE) or a solo instance like Laha after Prae.

Considering the major story implications of this dungeon, I also think it could go in MSQ roulette. And make the cutscenes unskippable.

If you want to watch all cutscenes - do the MSQ related duties with trust for the 1st time. That's their entire purpose - so you can experience the story aspect of a dungeon or a trial without worrying about other players.

Nobody will wait for you when they queue in a roulette, no one wants to waste time so some random player can watch a custcene for 10 minutes.

:/ So many people nowadays have no patience… I don’t know when them community became like WoW but it’s sad to see no one wanting to wait for new players to watch a cutscene. also some people may not want to do trust they might want to experience things with actual people. Just feels bad.

being able to use Duty Support for ARF (not Trust, there is no Trust available until Shadowbringers dungeons, they are two separate, but linked, systems) is a fairly new option.
