I’ve said this before, but I remember pre-release renders of male Hrothgar having hairstyles tied to the “wrong” face, not to mention several NPCs have this going on too. It really sucks that not only did they not lift this restriction with Dawntrail, female Hrothgar still get face-locked hair too. My copium is that they’re waiting to finish porting the other hairstyles before unlocking their own hair but it’ll be a very long time with the pace they’re going. Even then, I wish they had prioritized racial hairstyles because they’re pretty much the only ones that look good on them because they were designed specifically for their weird heads (that “hunch” they were going for really messed things up I think).
I have two Hrothgar alts (and my femHroth has really grown on me since making her), but I’m really disappointed with the color options that we’ve been given with the race in general. Why highlighter yellow and not a more natural tiger orange? (And why can only one face have the Ronso horn?)

Better fur color options, please. Being a lion-colored lion shouldn't be impossible. The main hrothgal NPC has a fur color players aren't allowed to have.
Light tan or orange is impossible but for some reason hot pink, neon yellow, Shrek green, grape purple, and sky blue are a-ok. It's so bad.
It's not actually! The fur colors for skin and hair are WILDLY different, so if you have the audacity to want a single color on a Hrothgar character, you have to pick all white or all black with only a VERY short list of other muted colors that work. I played all white so I wouldn't lose it, but I wanted to be be literally any shade of purple. You cannot be purple.Better fur color options, please. This is part why Wuk Lamat is so much better looking as a model than players. She can have brown fur on her head and tail tip, but her body stripes match her skin tone. She has zero markings on her face. It's baffling since the perfect base is RIGHT THERE.
More importantly, why can't I make an orange cat or a tiger? Why are the "skin" (fur?) and hair colors so limiting.
This is a 2025 game, with a 2024 implemented race. We should have something akin to a color wheel picker to decide whatever we wanna use for character customization, on all races.
And don't get me started with the hairs being locked to specific faces.
7.3 WILL SAVE HROTHGAR!! TRUST THE PROCESS!!

There are lost options for purple.
But yes I agree, the way the colors are laid out on the body is just ridiculous. I want to be able to turn off body markings AND still have hair highlights. The fact the two are related makes it so difficult to create a harmonious design. They just feel so poorly implemented all around.

Yes, you can, although I admit it looks like blue in the colour table. In the game itself it looks very purple though.
She has lioness colours and a beautilful face with big house cat eyes, and I really want those. And natural cat-shade colour options. Lioness gold, tigress orange, even snow leopard muted greige would be a simple yet massive improvement over what we currently have. I really hope they are working on implementing a wider colour picker for all races right now and that's why they're not bothering with better Hrothgar colours until then, but 1.0 spaghetti code yada yada might make this impossible until they rework the whole character creation system in Althyk knows how many years.
I just want to be an orange tigress, why is that so hard, SE?

I definitely hope they fix the shoulder/sleeves issue, some gear just looks comically bad on Femhroths that looks fine on other races, have you seen how ridiculous the lvl 80 Gunbreaker AF coat looks on Femhroth?
