Might be a good way to encourage people to replay these old content, helping newer players complete.

While the challenge log is cool, I think the biggest PT idea they could add to get more people into the older deep dungeons are extra checkpoints and letting people use matched parties to go to deeper floors.
(And maybe reducing every monsters health in Orthos, so that dungeon doesn't feel like wading through a poisonous swamp from the very start)

I'd also like checkpoints in older DDs. PT proves it makes DDs more accessible while not taking away the challenge from those who start from floor 1 if they wipe. While the challenge log is cool, I think the biggest PT idea they could add to get more people into the older deep dungeons are extra checkpoints and letting people use matched parties to go to deeper floors.

I'd also like to see these be doable with blue mage/beast master so they have more content to do

I would love a full modernization of the old DDs, honestly. I LOVE solo POTD, but all the bosses except 50, 100, 150, 180, and 190, are so boring. If you know the mechanics, there's just no execution required. Give them cool mechanics! Just pleeease don't touch 180 because it's such an iconic boss and a rite of passage for anyone who wants to be a Necromancer. Also, know how we sometimes find the spirits of people we've faced before? How about we get something like magicite from silvers to bring back allies from the dead, ala Aitiascope? Make silvers exciting to find in POTD.
HOH is almost there, but they should tighten the AP sync to make the lower floors more challenging, and make the the auspice buffs last way longer! Either that or make them more common.
EO needs a lot of work. Reduce the HP of basically everything except bosses. Reduce the damage of almost every oneshotting mechanic by 90%~ or so, so it can kill you, but can survive it with steel, stoneskin, etc. Crank up the auto attack damage of allllll the non-boss enemies, at least 30%. Also, just completely throw out the crystal layout. They're hideous and the visual obstruction doesn't play well with the mechanics. Lastly, do a pass through all the telegraphs. Keep the mechanics, but make them more visually digestible. For example, an egg enemy that does a frontal cone, and often passes over branchy terrain, shouldn't need its targeting circle alone to see which way it's facing.
Other than that, yeah, checkpoints, challlenge logs, etc, sounds great.
Agree with everything here.
Maybe they could add some farmable new stuff to celebrate a 'renovation' of old DDs.

PT has been the most fun I had in this game for a while.
I think bringing the challenge log into older deep dungeons (after they have received the qol) would be a great idea.
I wonder though what could be good rewards from the log to make them interesting in the long run and not simply "get rewards and don't go in ever again".
Random treasure coffers that can have basically anything inside? From old Ex weapons to submarine rewards? (Maybe even a low chance for Fantasia?)
Would be really interesting what others think regarding this because I think that might revive a lot of old content if done right.
A special kind of item (or a unique currency to buy the item via nearby vendors) that can be applied to any Deep Dungeon's aetherpool weapons/armor (including future ones) up to a certain level?
It might encourage people to try ones outside of Palace of the Dead and Pilgrim's Traverse if they can give themselves a little "head start" for the ones in-between or to make working on a new grip less daunting, but not let them outright max their weapon or armor, they still need to actually go in and do each specific one to reach their respective aetherpool cap.
Maybe even make the item tradable so there's additional value for those who don't need it in the same vein that some people profit from farming logos/lost actions in Eureka and Bozja.
In fact, I'm remembering now. The Fanfest slide that "New plans for Deep Dungeons"... It was an interesting way of writing, given that Pilgrim's Traverse still follows the same formula, I wouldn't consider it "new plans". Could this hint something regarding the old DDs?
Reality is that this may be just a fancy way of saying "we'll make a new Deep Dungeon" or just that this one has more novelty than EO lol.
