Gold Saucer Mario Party (Board game + mini events)

    Hi All,

I think it would be amazing to see a new board game-style feature added to the Gold Saucer, something that encourages more interactive play between players, similar in spirit to Mario Party.

FFXIV already has thousands of boss mechanics and mini-event potential that could be adapted into short, fun mini-games. Imagine rolling dice to move around themed boards (like Eorzea zones or dungeon areas), and landing on spaces that trigger mechanics-based mini-games. You could repurpose existing boss arenas or environments to host these events, making full use of the game's rich content library.

Each board could feature different themes, maybe one inspired by Shadowbringers, another by Heavensward, etc. It would not only breathe new life into the Gold Saucer, which hasn't seen major content updates in a while, but also give players more reasons to gather and play casually with others.

It’s a great opportunity to blend nostalgia, challenge, and community play all in one place. Would love to hear others' thoughts or ideas on this!

My only concern with this would be time investment as most Mario Party games tend to go for at least half an hour. Now sure, an FF14 spin might go faster because of no mini games, but I feel like this would need to be something like Chocobo Racing or Lord of the Vermillion that you have to manually group up for.
