Dyeable belt on Hope Mail

At the Dawntrail fanfest you told us to trust your aesthetic sense on two dye channels.
That aesthetic sense has resulted in a part of the chestpieces that completely clashes with the rest of it no matter how you change the colors, because for some reason you left the belt orange, and the inner cloth blue.
Make the belt dyeable on channel 1 and the cloth on channel 2.

That's highly subjective, though. Some may prefer certain parts to be dyeable. Honestly, the best we can with about this is that:

a) Make them stop adding the secondary channel to minuscule parts that nobody even see and to bigger, more obvious parts instead
b) Wish for a 3rd and 4th channels in the future

The gear is ugly as hell anyway. They couldn't have chosen a worse set to represent Monster Hunter.

Nope. Highly astronomically objective. No person with functioning eyes would choose to have a random bright color right in the middle of other clashing colors, and if there is one then they should stay away from picking clothes for their everyday life because they will pick a clown outfit, and I have no interest in their opinion on my problem.

tbf I tried on the Hope set, both versions since I've never played MH games, and yeah, it's pretty unfortunate the orange parts never change even when I choose opposite colors with the 2nd dye ch which other than clashing badly it's hard to mix and match since texture looks too rough compared to how smooth other gears are in FFXIV.

Honestly some pieces really need them… I love the SMN AF for DT, but it’s hard to dye nicely when the red sash doesn’t change. Also share OP’s annoyance with the orange belt. lol

Something, something, load times probably… lol while I don’t mean to sound ungrateful for the second channel, because it has made a world of difference to a lot of items, I’d really like to see them be a little more refined, and I think there should at least be a third channel that’s just “any metal bits” for each piece of gear. The amount of times I’ve seen the second dye channel be metal on one piece in the set, but not in the other pieces of the same set is troubling.
