Speed up island sanctuary?

Is there any way at all we can speed up island sanctuary? I had originally skipped the content as a whole since it was time gated and this is a sub based game, thinking once it was completed i would be able to enjoy it at my leisure, but it doesnt seem to be the case. I have to wait IRL time for these to complete?

I'm level 4 and I just want the LVL 20 glam piece and am hoping to knock out as much as possible while deciding to keep my sub active or not. If theres no way to do this, i guess ill just have to skip this content as a whole.

Pretty much with the irl time iirc. I maxed out Island Sanctuary level, never returned there again lol

As far as I can recall, outside poking nodes manually for the pitiful isle exp gain, nada. Even if you technically able to keep gathering nonstop until max level (godplsno), I think you'll still be gated at some levels as they demand some Seafarer Cowries (blue coins) which can only come from selling animal leavings, crops, and workshops. What about those three? Yeah... they are all timegated, too.

Honestly the timegating in that content kinda make me think I'm playing some F2P mobile game with some battlepass weekly XP/Resource limit system lmao.

Island would be way better if you could cooperate with someone doing stuff what had futher influence on the island , mobs and all else.
Had a potential to be a wonderful minigame and some adventure but it's just.. click here move click there move again meh excel thingie

I did mine ages ago, so I can't quite remember... if you want to brute-force the EXP, you'll have to manually gather, which is a pain. I remember just setting the buildings before going to sleep or before work so the timer would begin ticking away while I'm busy. Not looking forward to doing it all over again on my alt, but those glams are so cute!

Iirc, many back then used a bot as soon as they unlocked the mountain peak and just afk'd. (Simple auto clicker)
To my knowledge nobody ever had any consequences as it's your own solo instance and since SE dropped Island Sanctuary like a hot potato after EW....
yeah I don't think anything would happen so someone doing that now too.

Would recommend waiting otherwise as the "gameplay loop" in there is so boring, stupid and monotonous.

There's also a completely legit, vanilla macro that has your character auto lock-on onto whatever gathering node is closest, activate sprint and try to engage with the node. It wasn't fully automated like a bot, but it saved you a few extra clicks here and there.

Yeah I remember that one, used that while mindlessly pressing one button while watching something to bear with it.
If you use a very simple auto clicker one can use that to run that Macro by itself.

Yeah, it's one of the main reasons I dropped IS even tho it had cute glams, minions, and mounts. I dislike the endless clicking for gathering mats and how much time wasted each day even tho it's technically over at the end of EW.

It was advertised in a way that made it look like Animal Crossing but for FFXIV. Had it been that, it probably would have been a smash hit but instead, we got gathering and spreadsheet simulator which very few wanted.
