Complaint about art book minion rewards

Hi all, first post. Yesterday I was gifted two of the FFXIV artbooks for my birthday, first being "The Art of Ishgard: The Scars of War", and the other "Shadowbringers: The Art of Reflection - Histories Forsaken".
These books came with item codes for the Hraesvelgr and Dulia-Chai minions respectively. I was pleased to see that the Hraesvelgr minion was account-wide and would be distributed to all my alts, but then disappointed when the Dulia-Chai one was for one specific character.
I have several alts and a few of them would have enjoyed the Dulia minion, and I would think that after anyone would spend 53.99$ CAD on a book that Square would at least make its bonus item accessible to the buyer's/giftee's entire account.
Is there any reason anyone would know of that Square would make that kind of negative change? Or is this plain old corporate greed?

SE said they can only have a certain number of all account rewards, so they decided to save it for mounts is what I read in the past. Also, I would like to have my Erenville minion on my current and all future alts as I already paid $30 for the artbook.

I don't support SE making all cash shop outfits for 1 character, but the amount of ppl who have alts and willing to buy repeated cash shop hairs and outfits means it's working for them well atm.

This is way back. People don't even bother asking about account wide stuff anymore. Always some sort of limitation. As if they haven't had ten years to work on those limitations.

I mean yeah, but if you know where the source can be found, all the better.
People ask for account-wide things all the time, and for good reason, so I'm not quite sure what you meant.
