The bare minimum since I have other games that need played, all my friends as well as my spouse already having quit the game long ago and with WoW's Midnight coming a long time before 8.0 will even be teased I will have that to scratch my mmo itch. The only thing making me keep my sub is my house and the only way I justify that is due to legacy sub pricing and having canceled of all my retainers. 8.0 will 100% be my make or break. I gave SE a chance after 1.0, I will give them 1 more. But with the state of the game and the company at large I am just barely doing that.

Before the expansion. Depends on the content we have. Is beastmaster good? Is the OC final area fun? I will complete the PVP season pass at the very least and finish the relic but other than that I am completing my backlog of other games.

A generous estimate still puts around 5 months between 7.55 and 8.0, and I doubt that BST and North Horn will last that long.

I still have tons to do, honestly. I've been playing for over 5 years now and still got things to wrap up on my main, nevermind the alts I have laying around. I typically use these quiet times to crack down on raiding (UWU is done, just gotta farm the remaining weapons, then planning to wrap up my second clear of ASSS before diving into UCOB and Aloalo). I've been slowly leveling jobs and advancing the MSQ on my alts here and there, but I'm mostly taking it easy for now but I'm looking forward to the Monster Hunter collab. I didn't expect them to add housing items, but I'm happy about it!!If you take to an account of quality and how often the content is being realised.
What are your plans for whole 12 + months before next expansion pack realise?
Any goals you want to achieve?
Do you think people will stay in the game or we are about to face a phase of "playing other game" ?
I got a couple of houses to decorate still, but I'm mostly waiting to see what we're working with when the update finally drops. So for now it's mostly wrapping up raids and preparing for the next set. It's also a good chance to take a breather from the game and play something else - or Twelve preserve, touch grass!?!?!?
Hi Rinoa! I got a few tips for you, if you're interested:[...] I may actually try raiding but my biggest road blocks are unreliable internet living in a rural area irl and also random power outages that can happen a few times day at times. I'm also deaf, so I wouldn't be able to join statics that use VC and that has been my biggest reason for never doing current tier savage raiding [...]
About the power outages, sadly not much can be done about that unless you invest into alternative power sources such as solar panels or appropriate batteries... they can be quite pricy, I'm afraid, and not really worth unless you get a lot of use out of them or you live in a super sunny area. Still, may be worth considering if you haven't yet. I hope they can repair your hearing one day!
- There are statics who specifically don't use VC. They're few and far between, but I've seen them around. They tend to do callouts with macros in the chat or sometimes have someone in discord pushing notifications when relevant. Tbh you do not need callouts if you focus on learning your part of the fight, the rest will fall in place with time. Honestly, most of the time being in VC with 7 other people disorients me really badly lol
- I also live in the countryside, and if you have access to it, Starlink hasn't failed me so far. I'm not saying it's the best thing ever, but in my experience it extremely rarely hiccups and is otherwise perfectly stable (unless you have bad weather, of course, but I live in a fairly sunny area myself)
Looking stylish, Carin! I feel like PLD does a decent job at easing you into its endgame rotation. I also bit the bullet at the start of DT and I'm happy to say I got used to playing it with time. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Having finally gotten all jobs to 100, I'll be focusing my time on completing my relics for crafters & gatherers (of each expansion) and probably the same for the battle jobs. I don't mind when there isn't MSQ to do, I always find *something* to do. But I do suppose it's because this game is my little bubble of peace from the daily life. Mount farms maybe? Achievements? I'll figure it out as I go. And if I feel like playing something else, then I can do so. \o/
Through twilight, we endure.
Regarding the internet, I also highly recommend getting StarLink. The initial upfront cost might be higher, but the monthly fee is worth it.It should be pretty simnilar to what I do today, craft a lot, sell on the MB to make Gil and continuously decorate my homes for in game events and more as I'm a big housing enthusiast. I will also keep hanging out and socializing with my friends and do the 8.0 hunt trains and more. I'm pretty casual for the most part but I may actually try raiding but my biggest road blocks are unreliable internet living in a rural area irl and also random power outages that can happen a few times day at times. I'm also deaf, so I wouldn't be able to join statics that use VC and that has been my biggest reason for never doing current tier savage raiding but I would love to one day along with ultimate's if they can repair my hearing one day medically.
As for your deafness, just DM all that seems the right fit for you in terms of goals and pace, and just be upfront about not hearing. Usually, VC is preferred because it's easier to coordinate and address things; however, if PF can do it, so can you. Also, most will be accommodating and understanding.
Too far in the future to know what I'll be doing.
But if nothing changes then it's probably still going to be be PvP every few days.

Crystalline conflict

I dunno about accommodating, necessarily. It's not much different from being hired to a job. You gotta show up. You gotta be with 7 other people that aren't you. If you don't mesh well with them for, whatever reason there may be, then that's that. They aren't obligated to tell you why if it's the group who decides against rather than the individual deciding against the group.Regarding the internet, I also highly recommend getting StarLink. The initial upfront cost might be higher, but the monthly fee is worth it.

Being courteous should just be a given, of course. But being friends is not necessary. Most good -- solid -- groups are a business first, not a clique first.
