    Buyback option from npc vendor.

A mistake everyone probably has made at one point or another, selling something to a vendor that you really didn't want to sell...Please give us a way to buy back this item, this can be in the same session or before relog or any way, we don't care. Just please let us buy it back!

    Don't make mistakes then.

It takes 15 minutes and 3 different screens to sell a single item. You have to be extremely slow or really faded to sell something you didn't want to lose.

Why do FFXIV players shoot down any sort of quality of life changes? Seriously what harm would a buy back feature do?

I'm not adverse to the idea itself, I just think there's much more important things to be done. I would rather takes Lilith's suggested route and just see a complete revamp of the selling screen anyway. Something along the line of the Tales of games or the ones that use shopping lists/check list selling systems. It's a real pain to sell off unneeded loot in 14 because of how terribly slow it is.

Since patch 1.16 there is a problem when selecting items to sell with the mouse: starting from the second item you sell, clicking any item other than the one that's right after the sold item, will highlight both the item you clicked and the item that is right after the previously sold item. Than you get the window to confirm your sale, which will not be the item you clicked. If you go through it to fast you'll sell something you didn't want to.
The first time I had this, I didn't notice it because I saw the item that I clicked on highlight and thus thought it was ok. I lost a lot of gil because of that ...

I don't know if it is realistic, but wouldn't it be easier to have a system to put a check mark next to every item you want to sell, and selling them all at once with one confirmation window? That way you'd have to check once for mistakes and be much faster selling your stuff. (for goldsmiths for example, to sell all the silver rings after grinding instead of selling them one by one and selling a full stack of silver ores by mistake ...)

YES PLEASE I am fully in favor of selecting multiple items for sale to a NPC as a crafter this is totally needed as I HATE selecting 80 rings at a time to sell and then having to click 160 other different buttons

    I'd go for buy-back as a non-priority feature.

Never thought it could happen to me, but then one day after the grind I accidentally sold a bundle of sheep leather spetches. I got lucky.....could have been WAY worse

While I agree that this probably isn't one of those absolutely-must-do-it-right-now priorities, I would definitely like to see something like this put in. (And, by the way, making these kinds of mistakes has nothing to do with being "slow" or "faded". Mistakes happen, even when people are being careful.)
