are people still struggling on this? i mean its been a year

While i personally doubt there are THAT many people who are "still" stuck on this after a year, there are new people who reach this point all the time. And as far as i know, the easy/very easy thing was never changed so some are still being caught offguard.

33 times why cant we play our own charterI’m pulling my hair out over the “Taking A Stand” quest where you play as Wuk Lamat. No matter what I do, I keep dying, and the mechanics just don’t make any sense to me. I even tried dropping the difficulty to “Very Easy,” but it feels like a bad joke because it’s still ridiculously hard. Has anyone else had this issue? Any tips on how to survive this fight? I’m getting desperate here!
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Did it last week. I ended up winning on the 4th attempt. The consistent pattern for these roleplay quests has been that It takes two three tries before I really understand both the quest's objectives and the move set they've given me.

So many of the problems people have with these solo duties can be resolved by taking 10 seconds at the start of the fight to read the tooltips attached to each action. For this duty in particular you have the following buttons:From there it's just playing the game like always, keep your GCD rolling and dodge attacks. We've had 94 levels of content before this duty so those 2 things should be pretty simple by the point you reach this at least
- Tail of the Br'aax Combo: Single Target Combo
- Turali Judgment Combo: AOE Combo
- Luwatena Pulse: Increases your max HP by 20% and heals you for the amount it increases. Additionally makes your heals 20% stronger.
- Beak of the Luwatena: Ranged Attack
- Run of the Rroneek: Gap Closer
- Dawnlit Conviction: High damage LB that increases your damage dealt and gives you WAR's Bloodwhetting/Raw Intuition (healing based on damage)

As a follow-up to this I did NG+ just to reattempt this on all 3 difficulties.
Easy is NOT easier than Very Easy. Easy gives you 20% Echo while Very Easy gives you 40% Echo. Here is the data for anyone who wants it:
The Echo buff is called "Indomitable Spirit"
Normal (No Echo)
- Your HP: 122.732
- Ranged Attack Damage: ~3.5-3.8k
Easy (Gives 20% Echo)
- Your HP: 147,278
- Ranged Attack Damage: ~4.2-4.5k
Very Easy (Gives 40% Echo)
- Your HP: 171,824
- Ranged Attack Damage: ~5.0-5.3k
There is no difference in mechanics or damage taken between any of the 3 difficulty tiers. It may seem like you take more damage in Very Easy but that is because the cast "Roar" seems to be percent based taking out around ~50-55% of your HP. Outside of Roar all damage is the same.
So rather than being a bit sarcastic this time, how do you clear this duty easily? You really just need to do 3 things:As long as you don't make too many mistakes this is all you need to do to clear even on Normal difficulty.
- Hit Luwatena Pulse on cooldown. You can use it as a proper heal as well but I found keeping it rolling on cooldown is enough for this duty.
- Hit Dawnlit Conviction the moment it is available. The fight stops for a moment giving you enough time to use it whenever it is up.
- Keep your Tail of the Br'aax Combo GCD rolling. This is really important since the 3rd hit of your combo heals you. Seriously, just spam the combo button the entire time.
