Glamour plate vs. Kudzu robe of crafting

Hello All

My problem: I have created a glamour plate using a Kudzu robe of crafting (level 65).
When I want to use it on my alchemist level 66, I can't. It seems not to be allowed with a notification "unable to cast glamour from plate".

My question: What is the problem? It's a robe for a crafter and I try to put it on a crafter. It should work? Or what do I fail to understand?

What level is the robe your alchemist is wearing? It must be higher than 65 to glamour the Kudzu one over it.
Are you in a main city? Glamour plates can't be applied out in the field.

It was the level. Level 65 does match to gear around level 220 whereas my current gears are level 200. I could have simply equip the robe instead of glamouring it! Silly me... LOL

Glamours consider equip level, not item level. A glamour piece has to be the same or lower equip level than the piece that you're actually wearing. So you can put a Lv01 glamour on a Lv100 piece of equipment, but you can't put a Lv61 glamour on a Lv60 piece of equipment, even if the Lv60 piece has a higher IL.

Yep, I understood that correctly. I didn't show it, but the difference in item levels match with the difference in gear levels in my case: Equipped gear is lower level (63 or 64, can't recall exactly) than the glamour robe (66).
