The new relic step requires you to do a bit of a slow grind which is fine by me i like grind but you cannot progress it at all inside the island supossedly designed for the relic.

I understand them wanting to avoid another eureka scenario where people that liked relics didn't want to do very experimental content but there should be a middle ground not simply either or.

Allow us to work on every step that is this long on both the island and outside the island and at that make the island give more tomes because you get so little you don't really feel like you are making any progress towards the relic at all.

Not much of a relic zone if they don't require you to do the relic inside of it lol.

That said, it doesn't feel any better to farm the same handful of CE's and fates than it does doing roulettes over and over.

Unless they add more content to OC then I'm fine with it as is. Outside of Trials the others get light fast enough.

OC wasn't explicit designed for the relic. It's simply where it starts.

The likely reason they didn't include it was because there's nothing new being added. Therefore, the only thing you could do is more of what you're already doing. Which, itself, would essentially be a retread of the first step, aka grind fates.
