I would 100% LOVE S9 housing aswell. BUT i highly doubt we will. WHY?

SE dosn't have the funds. Or data network space for it. Or server space for it.

You gotta understand both of you, Square Enix is a smol indie company the higher ups can't afford to spare some of their multi-millions of profits to give XIV a bigger budget to fix old QoL things that have plagued the experience for years. It's just not feasible for them to instead of have profits actually put money to the user experience.

We probably won’t see a housing district directly inside Solution Nine, since lore wise that zone technically exists in another world.
However, I do think we’ll eventually get a Solution Nine inspired sci-fi residential area on the Moon.
It makes sense, since we’re already establishing a settlement there much like how Empyreum was developed.

Yes, Living Memory resides physically within another Reflection.
Accessing it requires a specific Key and without it, entry is impossible.
However, Solution 9 differs from Living Memory.
It is the result of a dimensional overlap
A catastrophic linkage between realms, established within that magical dome.
The zone where Solution 9 is physically located still belongs to another Reflection.
This is why intense lightning elements are observed there; manifestations of unresolved spatial tension and energy discharge across the land

Which was in 2022. And before that, it was Shirogane in 2017. I have no idea where the next housing district will be (my guess is Old Sharlayan), but I wouldn't expect it for at least another 2-3 years.

I'd say even longer.. SE dosn't have the funds, or server space, etc. :x

I dont even want Housing in S9, I want instanced appartments with different sizes and room layouts, with interchangeable S9-themed fixtures like the ones we have seen im buildings over there

It would genuinely be great to have a higher quality version of what Appartments currently are, and S9 would be the perfect fit for it
