The game really needs to get rid of the whole glamour system and make something better from ground up, glamour prisms as a pseudo currency and limited slots for clothes you want to have is so antiquated that games with a focus on fashion don't do this for decades now.

• Not just that but class restrictions are becoming less and less sensical, specially as the game goes on and sets are becoming more homogenized, The vanguard set of fending and maiming have literally the same model but in different colors, and that's just to name one out many from across jobs, so am i wasting double the slots on my glamour dresser for literally the same model, this is ridiculous

• There is even worse cases like this one specific leg piece that i like from the makai PvP sets, they are all the same exact model for every single different role, but i need to occupy 6 slots for them because i need one for each and because of that there are 5 slots being wasted just on this single leg piece that looks exactly the same, no matter the job.

• Not just that but all the "modern" themed sets, eg.: the cruise raid gear, can't even have the excuse of "job identity" for that lock between each job because they are just different types of shirts, jackets and pants anyway.

• On top of that we already have sets of gear like the Fierce Tyrant's and Archfiend PvP sets who are full plate armors that healers and ranged dps can use already, so not even the "medieval" set are safe from this rule

We should just unlock the appearance of any item we acquire for the glamour dresser and then be able to use them however we want it, with whatever job we want it, no slots nor prisms needed, it is atrocious that a game that has such large community and focus on fashion like final fantasy XIV have such inadequate and convoluted system.

Unrestricted glamour has absolutely ZERO potential to make characters potentially more ridiculous than you can today.

Those changes in the OP are the kind of thing that we can see in the NA Fanfest as a selling point. If it's not there, I'm afraid it won't happen for another expansion.

I think this would be the most reasonable option. Leave the artifact gear locked to its iconic class, unlock everything else.

rare are the people who agree not gonna lie and they somewhat tried something with bonewicca and the tower of not armor to kinda mix some together. But we'll lack of option over all not gonna lie

They need to remove class/job restrictions and just lift the glamour book from FFXIV mobile into this game, including how dyes work.

I agree with wanting rolec specific gear. But what is the F point when we've got school uniforms, springbreak beach rejects, and pink dyed tonberies announcing the dicks they are. Especially all the frogs, elephants, and chipmunks. F me. I would actually really like half the glams to be flagged as non battle, and for them to be disabled in such content. Revert to other glam, revert to the gear underneath.

But if you can't do that just forget role specific gear. It really makes 'no' difference. In fact it's just a fiction.

Glams, canonically, are just an illusion of magic over layed onto what you are actually wearing.
